2. For what purpose and what legitimates us to process the User's personal data?
The personal data collected will be processed by EUROP ASSISTANCE for the following purposes:
(i) In the event that the User is one of thethird parties defined below:
- Professionals linked to EUROP ASSISTANCE: Intermediaries, Suppliers or Companies. The personal data of these third parties collected through the corresponding private area, will be processed to manage the commercial, contractual or collaborative relationship with EUROP ASSISTANCE, including the management of payments, billing, compliance with legal obligations and any other activity necessary for the proper provision of services.
(ii) In the case ofuser data obtained while browsing and using the EUROP ASSISTANCEwebsite:
- Treat the data generated by navigation for the purposes indicated in the Cookies Policy ( Legitimacy: See Cookies Policy).
- Solve possible technical or any other kind of incidents that may arise in relation to the Website (Legitimation: Legitimate Interest of EUROP ASSISTANCE and THE USER).
- Carrying out anonymous statistical reports regarding access habits and the activity developed by users on the Website (Legitimation: EUROP ASSISTANCE and the User's legitimate interest).

3. Who are potential recipients of your data?
Personal data will never be shared with third parties, unless it is necessary to comply with a legal obligation or to manage the pre-contractual and/or contractual relationship we have with you or to process the claim.
In this sense, the User's data may be communicated to:
- EUROP ASSISTANCE Group companies: Only for internal administrative purposes and/or for the purposes indicated above.
- EUROP ASSISTANCE service providers: Access necessary for the fulfillment of legal obligations and/or provision of services related to the aforementioned purposes. These providers will not process your data for their own purposes not previously informed and have the status of data processors.
- Public Administrations: In relation to the competences attributed to them.
We inform you that EUROP ASSISTANCE may collaborate with service providers located outside the European Economic Area. In such cases, EUROP ASSISTANCE requires that these providers comply with the necessary safeguards indicated in the personal data protection regulations, unless the European Commission has recognized that the recipient's country offers an adequate level of protection of personal data.
4. How long will we keep the user's data?
The personal data provided will be kept for the time necessary to fulfill the purpose for which they were collected and to determine the possible responsibilities that may arise from the purpose.
In this sense, at EUROP ASSISTANCE we will keep your data for the duration of the contractual relationship with us and, once the obligations arising from this relationship have expired, we will keep your data blocked for the legally prescribed retention periods or prescription periods. Once these periods have elapsed, your data will be deleted.
The criteria EUROP ASSISTANCE uses to set the data retention periods are determined in accordance with the requirements established in the applicable legislation and regulations. Among others, the commercial legislation establishes a retention period of six years.
5.What user data will EUROP ASSISTANCE process?
EUROP ASSISTANCE will process the data requested and, in any case, those indicated as mandatory for the contracting of the insurance product selected by the User.
In case the User provides third party data, he/she declares to have their consent and undertakes to transfer to the interested party, owner of such data, the information contained in the Privacy Policy, exempting EUROP ASSISTANCE from any liability in this regard. However, EUROP ASSISTANCE may carry out the necessary verifications to verify this fact, adopting the corresponding due diligence measures, according to the current regulations on data protection.
6.What are your rights?
You may exercise the following rights in relation to your personal data, (the following list is exemplary and not limitative):
- Access: Access to your personal data and obtain confirmation as to whether EUROP ASSISTANCE is processing your personal data.
- Rectification: Rectify inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Deletion: Request the deletion of your personal data when the data is no longer necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, or oppose to the processing.
- Limitation of Processing: Obtain from EUROP ASSISTANCE the limitation of data processing in the cases provided for in the regulations.

2. For what purpose and what legitimates us to process the User's personal data?
The personal data collected will be processed by EUROP ASSISTANCE in accordance with the following purposes:
(i) In case the user is apotential customer and is interested in contracting a EUROP ASSISTANCE insurance product:
- Manage your request and offer you the insurance product that best suits your requirements and needs (Legitimation: User's consent).
- Calculate the price of the insurance products selected by the user in the contracting process (Legitimation: User's consent).
- Communicate your data to third parties only when necessary to comply with a legal obligation or to formalize the insurance application (Legitimation: User's consent).
(ii) In case the user is acustomer andhas already contracted an insurance product from EUROP ASSISTANCE:
- Manage, maintain and control all the contractual relationship maintained between EUROP ASSISTANCE and the customer (Legitimation: Execution of an Insurance Contract).
- Prevent fraud and comply with the legal obligations of EUROP ASSISTANCE and its parent company, Europ Assistance France, Société (Legitimation: Legal Requirement).
- Improve the quality of the service offered by EUROP ASSISTANCE and evaluate your satisfaction (Legitimation: Legitimate Interest of EUROP ASSISTANCE and the User).
- Manage the EUROP ASSISTANCE Customer Service Program, by sending greeting mailings on special dates: customer's birthday, Christmas, New Year or EUROP ASSISTANCE's anniversary (Legitimation: Legitimate Interest of EUROP ASSISTANCE and the User).
- Communicate your data to third parties only when it is necessary to comply with a legal obligation or to manage the contractual relationship (Legitimacy: Legal requirement and execution of an insurance contract).
- Receive the EUROP ASSISTANCE Newsletter, as well as communications for commercial purposes of products and services similar to those contracted with EUROP ASSISTANCE (Legitimation: User's consent).
- Users' Private Space (Personal Tab): manage information related to the User, such as quotes or policies contracted (Legitimation: User's consent).
