Information on International Sanctions and excluded countries
-
International sanctions are coercive measures applied against States, non-State entities or individuals that pose a threat to international peace and security.
International financial sanctions, in particular, are restrictions imposed in the financial economic sphere by the United Nations, the European Union or the Kingdom of Spain in order to achieve the aforementioned international objectives of international peace and security.
Europ Assistance, in compliance with the international sanctions regime, reserves the right not to guarantee the services or benefits included in its contract with Europ Assistance if this exposes it to the risk of violating the international sanctions regime in force, as defined by the United Nations, the European Union, the United States of America, Spain, France or, where applicable, the United Kingdom.
The list of countries and territories subject to international sanctions is subject to change and is therefore reviewed and updated periodically.
Please find below the lists of excluded countries and territories. The latest version of the list always applies (even if an earlier version of the list is mentioned in your contract with Europ Assistance).
